NYR #5....I think there might be fraggles living in my kitchen

How many ways can I procrastinate #5 of my NYR? Here's what I've done so far:

*Watch grown-up movies
*Watch childrens movies
*Eat cookies
*Walk 2 miles to the store only to realize I've forgotten my debit card
*Lock myself out of my apartment
*Realize I didn't lock myself out of my apartment and had a heart attack over nothing

Oh, I swear to god I will get it done today though...as soon as I'm done on the internet, that it.

See, my completely awesome and fantastic boyfriend came over the other night and even though my apartment was already messy I decided to cook. I made buffalo wings from scratch (Why, yes, I am that good) and they were delicious but now my kitchen is an oil slick and there are two bowls of bones on my coffee table and all of the ingredients for the wings are on the counter and cleaning my apartment has become even more daunting....

What, what in the hell can I do to motivate myself to clean? If anyone is reading this, ideas please!!!!!

And now, I will attempt to scour my biohazardous kitchen....oh god.....

2012 New Years resolutions!

It's time to do what no person has ever done before: It's time to keep ALL of my new years resolutions. Daunting, I know, but this psychotic bitch is going to do it. How will I do it, you ask? ('You' haha, like anyone is going to read this shit) I have already gotten a head start on them and also, I've created this blog to record my adventures (read: pathetic attempts) and keeping said resolutions.

Without further adeu, here they are:

2012 NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS

1. Make a budget each payday and STICK TO IT

2. Have $1,000 in saving by 2013

3. Get deployed or canine*

4. Enter and maintain a healthy, rewarding long term relationship

5. REALLY clean my apt once a week.

*A little bit about me: I'm in the military! And that resolution is career related. I'm in the USAF and I'm security forces; like a cross between a police officer and infantry (I would be army infantry if I could be but sadly they don't allow indoor plumbing).

Here are my head starts:

1. Tried this last paycheck....It went....well...I'm broke. But all my bills got paid and I bought myself a few things so that's a plus ;)

2. I have $6.75, all in change and all in an old cookie tin on my coffee table.

3. Not much I can do at this point but wait until sometime this spring

4. Have recently entered a relationship with a man (from a different base that has recently come to work at my base with the same job as me) named Clint. What can I say about him.... I once told him that he reminded me of a weimaraner and he just thought it was cute.

5. Ha.

So there you have it. I suppose this blog will give me some sort of sense of responsibility for my own actions.
